MacFarlane Park Community Garden was established in 2017, on Council land just off Jebson Street, Shirley.

To be a place of meeting and connection in the community.
To foster knowledge and an enjoyment of gardening in the community, especially with the young of Shirley.
To provide a place to grow vegetables and fruit collectively for the benefit of the community of Shirley.

We run an after school children's gardening group for LOCAL children, and this is by registration only.

The garden is in a public park, so is open all the time. We garden as a goup on Thursday mornings, though this time changes term by term. Please watch Facebook for changes.
